WEEE ‘recast’ moves closer

Landfill Tax – are you minimising your liability?

The final landfill data for 2011 won’t be known for another couple of months, but it looks as though there is likely to have been a 15-20% decline in general waste to landfill compared to 2010. This will see a fall to around 23m tonnes for the year for the UK as a whole, a remarkable drop from 51m tonnes in 2001. [more]
